The new employee grievance procedure addresses employee complaints and concerns. It also outlines the process and provides the employee grievance form (PDF - 84KB) that is required to resolve them.

The employee grievance procedure has been changed to:

Offer a more direct approach
Encourage communication
Provide employees and supervisors with a shorter turnaround

The HROG document includes definitions and step-by-step guidelines. It details the responsibilities of the employee and the location Human Resources department, which will:

Meet with the employee before the initiation of the grievance process, to provide guidance and information on policy and procedures.
Visit with the employee regularly during the duration of the process to insure the integrity of the process.
