Access and Equity
Office Functions
- A mechanism for responding to inquiries about employee rights and handling investigations related to allegations and complaints about violations of district non-discrimination policies. (This also includes the grievance process)
- Work with Eastfield College departments to seek fair and effective resolutions regarding employee matters with strict confidentiality.
- Continue to work mutually supporting the office of Human Resources.
- Oversight and support for the college compliance efforts in the areas of the grievance process, discrimination prevention, and compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws.
- Provide educational resources and opportunities related to Diversity, Access and Equity for Eastfield College.
- Support current programs and services at Eastfield College.
- Serve as the Chair of the Access and Equity Council.
- Assist Human Resources during the Employee Exit Interview Process.
