CONGRATULATIONS

The Eastfield College Harvesters (Mesquite, TX) enters
the championship game undefeated with a record of three
wins, no loses, and a perfect winning percentage. Eastfield
got the luxury of resting Wednesday, while waiting for the
winner of the semi-final game, Gloucester v. Joliet. Earlier
in our quest for a National title, Eastfield defeated both
teams.

Saturday,
in our first game we defeated the Joliet Junior College Wolves
(Joliet, IL) 9-7. It’s a good feeling and confidence booster
to win the very first game. Record,
1-0.
Monday’s game was even better as we rolled past the Suffolk
County Community College Clippers (Selden, NY) 12-0. By the
way, Eastfield College exclusively owns the ‘only’
shut-out game in the 2006 Division III Playoffs. Record
2-0.
Tuesday’s game was expected to be very competitive.
Our opponent, the Gloucester County College Roadrunners (Sewell,
NJ), is the defending 2005 Div. III National Champions. Both
teams entered into this game with winning records, 2-0. Eastfield
prevailed as we defeated the Roadrunners 10-4. Can you say
Grand-Slam!!! Record, 3-0.
The stage is set! The championship game
was Thursday, May 25 at 6:00 PM (CST). Eastfield College
played Gloucester CC, again. This was a rematch of our third
game.
If we win game 4, the Eastfield College Harvesters will become
the 2006 NJCAA Div. III World Series Champs. If we lose, we
play one more game.

Championship Game:
Eastfield Wins Again
!! ( Four-In-A-Row) and is crowned the 2006
NJCAA Division III - National Champs - Record,
4-0.
The Harvesters defeated the defending 2005 National Champions,
Gloucester County College, in back-to-back games, 10-4 and 4-2.
That was an amazing accomplishment! Eastfield completes this
years World Series play undefeated.

Division III WORLD SERIES COACH Michael Martin,
and the following 2006 National Division III ALL-TOURNAMENT
TEAM members; Ronny Hawley, Tony Montgomery, Thomas
Rozell, and Ryan Weber. Ronny Hawley was also named the WORLD
SERIES MVP. Outstanding!
