Eastfield B-baller Signs with DI School

Grady Green signs his official letter of intent to play with a Division I school with his mother Daphne Green and Coach Anthony Fletcher (standing) present.

(Mesquite, TX) – Eastfield College Head Basketball Coach Anthony Fletcher announced recently that one his players has signed formal scholarship agreements with National Collegiate Athletic Association schools. Basketball player Grady Green will be signing a letter of intent to continue his education and basketball for Prairie View A&M University for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons today at 12:15 in the gym. Prairie View is a Division I university outside of Houston, Texas.

Coach Fletcher stated, “I am ecstatic for Grady and his signing. He is deserving of a Division 1 scholarship and will make the most of this opportunity.”

“Grady had faith in the coaching staff here at Eastfield that we would help him get a Division 1 scholarship and it has happened in the early signing period. He will be a good fit for Prairie View academically and athletically. I'm very happy and proud of Grady Green.”
