National Science Foundation Science Talent Expansion Program Announces Scholars

(Mesquite, TX) –The National Science Foundation Science Talent Expansion Program (STEP) at Eastfield College is proud to announce their 2009 scholars. They are: Joshua Bantseev, Rachael Bergman, Stephanie Campos, Tho Do, Jeffin John, Sunita Kharel, Cameron Kramer, Mark Riofta and Aracely Vazquez.

The selection of the scholars is based on the students’ personal statement, faculty letters of recommendation, grade point average and official transcripts information. NSF-STEP scholars will receive up to $1,500 dollars in financial support, one-one-tutoring, specialized academic advising, and transfer assistance.
