    Tips on traveling to and from campus, while on campus and safety using the OC Pepper Spray for self defense.  Learning to "spray and get away".  The OC Spray will be offered for purchase (approximate cost $15.00) but with a guaranteed prior purchase agreement by e-mailing Charlesetta Evers by September 30th.  This is not a certification for the OC Pepper Spray but only an introduction for its use in self defense. The instructor recommends a self defense class outside of this one hour course, information will be provided at the class.

Dr. Kelly McMichael: Active Learning Initiative
The Active Learning Initiative is a program that was designed by UNT to assist educators in transforming their classrooms for today's students. ALI combines learning with interactive educational environments to create effective and efficient learning for students. This is a division meeting, but all are welcome to learn about this new learning tool. Thanks to Tramaine Anderson & Richard Cinclair for coordinating this event.
