The Eastfield College Criminal Justice Training Center provides continuing education training in the field of law enforcement to individuals wishing to enter the law enforcement profession all the way through the veteran police officer.  Our police academy is ranked highly throughout the state and we are one of the few police academies in North Texas that accepts students who are not sponsored by a law enforcement agency.

Our faculty and adjunct faculty members bring over 150 years of combined law enforcement experience together under the direction of Randy Stewart, Program Director.  Director Stewart assumed this position after a 29 year career with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Sample Criminal Justice courses and electives include:

  • Basic Peace Officer Course
  • Intermediate Required Core Courses
  • Mandatory TCLEOSE required Courses
  • Specialized Law Enforcement courses
  • Non-Lethal Weapons courses
  • Judgment Simulator - Use of Force Options

The Enrollment Application for Spring 2015 Basic Peace Officer classes will be available October 1, 2014.
