Although this course will present theoretical research findings in language acquisition, it will also provide ESL and foreign language teachers with practical recommendations for developing proficiency in a second language. (As possible, it is recommended that this course be taken prior to the ESL Teaching Methods courses offered through the ESL Teaching Academy.)
