Auto Body Repair and Repaint - ABDR 1001     $245.00
AUTO BODY REPAIR AND REPAINTING
Lab-oriented, hands-on instruction in the basics of Auto Body metal working techniques. Surface preparation, priming, and blocking techniques will be covered. Students will demonstrate proper safety techniques and perform metal working techniques, and perform proper priming and painting successfully. Participants must supply their own project and expendable supplies. Additional cost for personal hand supplies is approximately $40. Students will supply any specialized tools needed for their particular vehicles.  Basic tools and large shop equipment are  provided by Eastfield. The student will comply with personal and environmental safety practices associated with clothing, eye protection, and use of chemicals, hand tools, and power equipment. Each car brought in for repair requires a $25 shop work order ($75 workorder if any welding is to be completed.)  Students can then  purchase painting supplies on their own or pay for complete repair cost work order and have supplies available in the tool room. CLASSES MEET FRIDAY 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM AND SATURDAY  8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Custom Body/Frame Modificat - ABDR 1091  $280.00
SPECIAL TOPICS IN AUTO/AUTOMOTIVE BODY REPAIRER
Topics are current skills and knowledge pertinent to the technology and professional development of the student of customized auto body construction and repair. Topics will include custom body modifications and custom wiring and electrical applications. Emphasis will be on Sheetmetal Fabrication. The student will comply with personal and environmental safety practices associated with clothing, eye protection, and use of chemicals, hand tools, and power equipment. Personal projects for lab use subject to work order and supplies charges.

SPECIAL TOPICS IN AUTO/AUTOMOTIVE BODY REPAIRER
Prerequisites: Must have prior autobody repair experience.
Topics are current skills and knowledge pertinent to the technology and professional development of the student of customized auto body construction and repair. Topics will include custom frame modifications and construction, custom body modifications and custom wiring and electrical applications. The emphasis will be on Chassis Fabrication. The student will comply with personal and environmental safety practices associated with clothing, eye protection, and use of chemicals, hand tools, and power equipment.  Personal projects for lab use will be subject to lab and supplies fees.

Custom Paint and Finishes - ABDR 1091         $280.00

ABDR 1307: Auto Body Welding - ABDR 1007 $117.00
AUTO BODY WELDING
This course is a mirror course to ABDR 1307.  A study of industry standard welding and cutting procedures. Student will be able to identify and set-up welding equipment used in the auto body repair industry; and display competency in industry standard welding and cutting procedures. Oxy-Acetylene, MIG, and TIG processes will be discussed and presented.
