The Journeyman Brewer Certificate provides an opportunity for students to gain experience in the day to day brewing operations. Students will be exposed and immersed into all aspects related to brewing practices, including but not limited to mash in, wort knock out, fermentation, hop dosing, filtration and packaging.
When successfully completing the Journeyman Brewer Program, students will have a working knowledge of brewing technology and equipment use; allowing the student to have a sound foundation to continue on with a successful brewing career or become a highly qualified applicant in the brewing industry.
18 years or older
High School diploma or equivalency
Monday and Friday, 9am - 5pm, internship with local breweries
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am - 3pm, in class learning
First day of course will be in class
