Computer Science, Engineering, & Mathematics (CSEMS) Scholarship Program

Interested in pursuing a degree or career in computer science, computer information technology, engineering, engineering technology, or mathematics?

What’s in it for you?

1. Up to $6,000 in scholarship money over a two year period to cover costs such as tuition, fees, books and supplies.
2. Advising and assistance in completing a degree plan or transfer to a four-year college or university.
3. Special activities such as college and industry tours, workshops, tutoring , and student services.

Are you eligible for CSEMS?

1. A U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, or in the U.S. and can provide evidence of intent to become a permanent resident.
2. High school graduates and current college students enrolled at Eastfield full-time taking at least 12 credits.
3. Those with demonstrated financial need.
4. Those in an eligible A.S. or A.A.S. degree program at Eastfield or intending to transfer to a four-year college in a CSEMS field of study.
5. Demonstrated academic potential and at the time of application have a minimum 3.0 GPA for recent high school graduates, or a 2.5 for current college students.
6. Those committed to complete their degree programs.

Want to apply for CSEMS?

1. Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) either online or in the Financial Aid Resource Center.
2. Schedule a consultation with your Financial Aid or CSEMS Advisor to ensure you can fulfill the requirements of the program in a CSEMS eligible field.
3. Complete the CSEMS application form and submit it to the Financial Aid Office, a CSEMS Advisor, or in the box outside of room A207.
