Rick Railsback
Courses Taught
I strive to relate geology to the students' everyday lives and to present the subject matter so that students develop meaningful questions. A question is an initial expression of interest. The end goal is to spark an interest in the physical world they live in. At the end of the course, the student will have a broader perspective on the earth and man's role in earth processes, will be better able to visualize and understand in four dimensions, and will understand the concept of time as it relates to the evolution of the earth. |
