The Student Government Association serves as the representative body for enrolled credit students at Eastfield College. The SGA (Student Government Association) is sponsored through the Office of Student Life.
Each fall semester, students may apply for participation in the Student Government Association. Sixteen students serve on the annual Student Government Association from fall through spring semesters.
Applications are available beginning each fall semester, in the Office of Student Life, Room C-141. Students applying for SGA participation MUST meet the following requirements, with written proof attached to the application form.
- Proof of current credit enrollment at Eastfield, taking a minimum of 6.0 credit hours per semester.
- Transcript from a former college, high school or university.
- A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.
- A current Eastfield College credit class paid “fee receipt”.
- Completed the “Application Form” and turned in by the deadline date.
- Completed the “Nomination Form” and turned in by the Deadline date.
SGA members MUST be able to attend regular meetings, scheduled 2 Fridays of each month at 12:30pm. Most meetings last 2-3 hours. SGA members MUST be able to devote time each week to obligations required in order to serve as a Representative of the SGA.
