2008 Season
We are fresh off our Spring 07 campaign where we competed in Nationals for the first time. I am proud of the accomplishments of our team, despite a difficult season record, we proved that we not only can compete on the National level but that we are a force to be reckoned with. We made a huge impact in our first foray into Nationals coming home with several honors:

Men's Team National Runner-up (2nd in the Nation)
Men's Doubles National Champions (Hiram & Adriel Gonzalez)
Men's #6 Singles National Champion (Caleb Prewitt)
Men's Singles National Runner-up (Hiram Gonzalez)
Men's #3 Doubles Consolation Champions (Alexis Narvaez & Brandon Womack)

We are excited and looking forward to the upcoming 08 season where we hope to improve on our benchmark in both Men's & Women's Team Tennis We are looking for those eager to join our team. It is imperative that any interested Men have High School or Tournament experience. The quality of competition demands it and there is little room for those still learning the game, I am sorry to say. If you think you qualify then contact me or come to one of the open tryouts listed above.

As for the Women, your participation is greatly needed. It all starts and ends with the Womens program and your willingness to get out there and compete.

For the Women its not as much as important that you have good quality experience as it is that you are willing to try. If you think you have some athletic ability and/ or have played Tennis in the past, you may want to come and try-out. Don't think your not good enough. I've finished the year with some of my best players coming from the Soccer field or the Volleyball court.

I look forward to seeing all of you come tryouts or at your local campuses.
