Student Access to Eastfield College Adjunct Faculty

In order to ensure student access to adjunct faculty at Eastfield College, the following procedures apply:

The Dean of each division will provide a space for adjunct faculty to consult with students on a one on one basis, either in the division office or an adjunct faculty office.

The Dean of each division will provide a contact phone number that can be used to take messages for adjunct faculty. In addition, the Dean of each division will provide telephone access for adjunct faculty to return student calls or to contact students either in the division office or an adjunct faculty office.

The Dean of each division will insure that adjunct faculty have e-mail addresses provided by the college if they do not have e-mail and access to a computer to read e-mails. The computer will be available either in the division office or the adjunct faculty office.

The Dean of each division will provide adjunct faculty with information about how to insure that students have contact information on the course syllabus. The adjunct faculty member will be required to put a contact phone number and either the division office address or the adjunct faculty office address.

The Dean of each division will provide adjunct faculty with mailboxes in the division office to receive papers from students, messages from students and pertinent college and division information.
