Eastfield College introduces the Asian-American/Middle Eastern-American Studies Program.  The program offers students individual courses and a formal degree - Emphasis in Associate of Arts degree in Asian-American/Middle Eastern-American Studies - with various approaches to the study of different cultural traditions of Asia/Middle East and their influence on the development of the Asian-American or Middle Eastern-American culture. Students participating in this program will be prepared to meet the challenges and engage in the opportunities of an ever-expanding global community.  Furthermore, the program seeks to encourage community involvement by developing partnerships, organizing cultural events, encouraging service learning and study abroad, and becoming a resource center to the broader community.
