A student may take the following state approved TSI Assessment test to meet TSI requirements. The TSI Assessment test cut scores are listed below based on when students enter Eastfield College:
Phase 1 – Students entering higher education Fall 2013
Phase 2 – Students entering higher education Fall 2017
Final – Students entering higher education Fall 2019
Note: Effective August 22, 2013 the following tests can no longer be used to determine TSI requirements: Accuplacer, Compass, Asset, THEA, and MAPS. The only state approved test to determine TSI requirements is the TSI Assessment Test.

DCCCD and Eastfield College requires incoming students who are not exempt to take the TSI Assessment Test. Eastfield College’s Assessment/Testing Services offers the TSI Assessment test on campus. In order to take the TSI Assessment test, students must do the following:
** The Pre-Assessment Activity is a state mandated required activity to inform students about the TSI Assessment test and provides sample questions to ensure students understand the Texas Success Initiative program which will allow students to be successful in taking the TSI Assessment test. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO REGISTER FOR THE TSI ASSESSMENT TEST WITHOUT COMPLETING THE PRE-ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY.

TSI Testing Hours
Monday through Thursday: 8:00am to 6:00pm, closing at 9:00pm
Friday: 9:00am to 2:00pm, closing at 5:00pm.
IMPORTANT: Bring your testing referral and Photo ID. You will not be allowed to test without your Photo ID.
