Word processing program that allows students to efficiently create and revise professional documents such as letters, reports, memoranda, and resumes. Topics will include saving and retrieving documents, formatting basic business documents, changing fonts, printing, and block functions. The use of spell checker and the thesaurus will also be covered.

Participants will create landscapes, portraits, or designs, using the unique method of quilt piecing. Capture your memories of family, events, travel, and nature in pictorial “fabric-painted” masterpieces. Explore simple techniques of embellishments applying appliques, script, beads and fused fabric. Framing and finshing ideas will be discussed relating to the finished class project. Some BASIC sewing helpful, but not required. Some items will be provided by instructor. This class involves an impressionist approach to painting landscapes in oil or acrylic. There will be demonstrations using brushes, mediums, gels and palette knives followed by individual painting with instructor assistance.
