Most items checked out from Eastfield College Library may be renewed online. Books, CDs, and CD-ROMs are loaned for a three-week period and may be renewed for an additional three weeks. 3-Day videos may be renewed once. Telecourse videos may not be renewed. Items that are overdue or on hold for another patron may not be renewed. To renew an item online –
· You cannot renew items that are overdue or on hold!

To place a HOLD on a book is to request a book that is checked out and have it reserved for the requestor when it is returned. To place a hold on a book –

Intercampus Loan allows students, staff, and faculty to borrow books from other DCCCD libraries. ICLs may be sent to any other campus or picked up at the Circulation Desk. Only Main collection books may be requested; no Reference books may be loaned. To request an ICL from another campus –
Allow three (3) days for receipt of ICL materials if sent

How to Request an ILL (Interlibrary Loan)
Interlibrary Loan allows students, staff, and faculty to borrow books outside the DCCCD libraries. Before requesting any ILL item, please check the DCCCD Library Catalog. Please note that most ILL items may require up to six weeks for delivery. To request an ILL –
· Allow up to six (6) weeks for receipt of ILL materials.
