GUIDELINES FOR GROUP MEDIA ROOM USE

PURPOSE

The Group Media/Reserves Room is provided for the benefit of currently enrolled Eastfield students wishing to study the anatomy and biology models and charts.

ROOM RESTRICTIONS

The Group Media/Reserves Room is limited to a total number of four (4) people at a time.  The room door must remain closed at all times.  No food or drink allowed.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR USAGE

The Circulation Assistant at Media/Reserves will monitor usage of the Group Media/Reserves room.    

USAGE RULES

  1. All anatomy and biology models and charts in the Group Media/Reserves room may be used in the room without checking out the item needed.
  2. All anatomy and biology models and charts that are removed from the room must be checked out and returned at the Media/Reserves desk for use in the library.  Only one item may be checked out at a time. 
  3. Students are expected to return all items to the same place on the shelves in the Group Media/Reserves room.
  4. All corresponding printed keys (books and printed copies) must be checked out and returned at the Media/Reserves desk.  Keys/books must be used in the library.  Only one key may be checked out at a time.
  5. The leg and arm models and some charts do not have corresponding keys/books.
  6. The anatomy skeleton bone boxes may be checked out at the Media/Reserves desk for use in the library  for a maximum of two hours.   
  7. No food or drink will be allowed in the Group Media/Reserves room.  Failure to abide by this rule will result in forfeiture of the room.  Violators may lose Group Media/Reserves room privileges as well as their Group Study Room privileges.
  8. Noise should be kept to a minimum.  In order to maintain an environment conducive for study, the noise levels should be such that no sounds may be heard outside the Group Media/Reserves Room.
  9. Students may use the Group Media/Reserves room for study only.  Students are expected to behave in an appropriate manner.
  10. Students are required to keep the Group Media/Reserves room clean.
The Library reserves the right to refuse the use of the Group Media/ Room to students who violate these guidelines.
