Editorial Policy
The views expressed on the opinion pages and throughout the publication are those of the author and do not necessarily represent the views of the Et Cetera, Eastfield College or the Dallas County Community College District. Educational opportunities are offered without regard to race, age, national origin, religion, sex or disability.

The Et Cetera is published every two weeks, except Dec., Jan., and March by a student staff. Each member of the college community is entitled to one free copy of the Et Cetera. Additional copies are available in Room N-238.

For sign language interpreters and other accessibility accommodations for persons who are disabled, please contact Services for Special Populations at least one week to the event at 972.860.7039.

Letters to the Editor
Letters must be typed and signed. Names will be withheld upon request. They will be edited for profanity and vulgarity Associated Press style, grammar, libel and space when needed. The content will remain that of the author. Letters considered for printing must be 250 words or fewer. Letters may be delivered to N-238 or left in the suggestion box.

First Amendment Right
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
