I have spent the last four years working towards my Associates’ degree. In a way I am glad to finally be wrapping things up, but for the most part I am sad to be leaving. I have spent many long hard hours here, coming in before 6:00 a.m. sometimes only to leave campus at almost midnight.
I have met many great professors and some wonderful students. Some of the professors are like family and I will greatly miss them. This school has been my home away from home! One of my favorite memories is during the Fall of ’99 when I had the opportunity to be stage manager for Bob Erwin’s drama class, the play "All My Sons".
Some people whom I would like to thank are Allan Schmidt, Jim Smith, Sulema Ramos, J.C. (in the computer lab), Negie Varghese and Stacy Juhree because without these people I never would have made it. They listened and encouraged me when no one else would. Eastfield and the people that hold it together will always have a special place in my heart.

Eastfield has been a wonderful experience for me. I have met a lot of friends and was able to accomplish my dream. I would especially like to thank Sue Ramos in the TRIO program. She has always been very helpful. I enjoyed the Math TRIO tutoring with Carlos. Also, TRIO is a great program and helps keep students on track with their degree without all of the confusion.

Eastfield College creates a great atmosphere for new and returning students. They offer a wide variety of classes with various time schedules. Eastfield is a good school with good teachers. Keep up the good work, guys!!

Due to the fact, I started school at an older age, the faculty and staff were very aware of how diverse the age of students was who attend Eastfield. They have the ability to adapt to help each individual person. I could not have picked a better college to attend. I highly recommend anyone who is not sure of whether they want to attend a four year college to attend a two year college first.
I want to thank all the instructors and staff of Eastfield College for a very enjoyable two years. I could not have done it without them. I really hate the thought of leaving, but if it had not been for them, I would have not gotten as far as I did.
I want to give a special thanks to Edwina Edwards who was my first instructor and my last. She is retiring this year and I want her to know she will be missed.
