Seagoville High School Students
Learn New Science Technology using the Scanning Electron Microscope

On March 2, 2009, Seagoville High School invited Eastfield College to their campus for a learning demonstration of the TM-1000 portable scanning electron microscope. (TM - Table Model)

Eastfield's Research Coordinator, Jessica Silva and Program Services Coordinator, Laura Thomason transported the TM-1000 portable scanning electron microscope to Seagoville High School.

The students had a great time learning about electron microscopy and viewed magnified samples of images produced from the scanning electron microscope.

The goal of this learning demonstration was to introduce students to the TM-1000 so that they could gain an interest in science technologies.
