PROGRAM BENEFITS
- Up to $6,000 in scholarship
money - to help cover costs such as tuition,
fees, books and supplies
- Faculty advising, tutoring services, and assistance
in completing degree plan or transfer to a four-year University
- Special activities such as field trips, seminars, college
and industry tours and undergraduate research opportunities

a CSEM scholarship? |
- A U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, or in
the U.S. and can provide evidence of intent to become a
permanent resident
- High school graduates and current college students enrolled
at Eastfield full-time taking at least 12 credits
- Those with demonstrated financial need
- Those in an eligible A.S. or A.A.S. degree program at
Eastfield or intending to transfer to a four-year college
in a CSEMS field of study
- Demonstrated academic potential and at the time of application
have a minimum 3.0 GPA for
recent high school graduates, or a 2.5 for current college
students
- Those committed to complete their degree programs

- Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student
Aid) either online
or in the Financial Aid Resource Center.
- Complete the CSEMS application
form (format is PDF) and submit to the NSF-STEP Information
Specialist - step 3 above.
- NSF Case Manager will notify candidates of the outcome
of their application.
