Scholarship Opportunities

Coca-Cola Two Year Scholarship

For students enrolled at a two-year college or technical institution
U.S. citizens or permanent residents
GPA of 2.5 or above
Able to document 100 hours or community service within the current year

Recipients will receive an award in the amount of $1,000 to help with tuition, fees and books. Applications can be picked up in C237, Financial Aid. Deadline for submission is Friday. May 24,2002 by 4:30 to the Financial Aid office.

Bright Horizons Family solution Program

For student pursuing degrees in early childhood or a related field
Open to college sophomores working towards their Associates degree, junior's working sophomores working towards their Associates degree, junior's working towards their Bachelor's degree and those enrolled in Master's program
Student will need to complete an essay of 500 words or less discussing early childhood development and its educational importance
Three recommendations from a faculty member
Transcripts and GPA of at least 3.0
Reference of a mentor/teacher who inspired the candidate to pursue a career in early childhood

Three awards will be given in the amount of $ 2500 for each program area.
