BUSI 1301Introduction to BusinessThis course provides an introduction to business operations. Topics include: the business system, legal forms of business, organization and management, business functions (production, marketing, finance, risk management, information systems, accounting) and the environments affecting business (the economy, labor, government regulation, social responsibility, law, international business, and technology). BUSI 2301Business LawThis course presents the legal principles affecting business decisions. The law of contracts, agency, sales, negotiable instruments, and secured transactions are specifically covered. (3 Lec.)
MRKG 1311Principles Of MarketingIntroduction to the marketing mix functions and process. Includes identification of consumer and organizational needs and explanation of environmental issues. (3 Lec.)
HRPO 2301Human Resources ManagementBehavioral and legal approaches to the management of human resources in organizations. (3 Lec.)
HRPO 2307Organizational BehaviorThe analysis and application of organizational theory, group dynamics, motivation theory, leadership concepts, and the integration of interdisciplinary concepts from the behavioral sciences. (3 Lec.)
BMGT 2382Cooperative Education - Business Administration And Management, GeneralCareer-related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer, and student. Under the supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. Includes a lecture component. The student should have previous credit in or concurrent enrollment in HRPO 2307 or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor. (1 Lec., 14 Ext.)
