Assistance Information
Book scholarships for $50-$100 (Beginning January 4, 2010)
- 6 hours of enrollment at Eastfield College
- GPA of 2.0 for returning students
- No blocks or previous owed balances
- Not on financial aid suspension
- Have a declared program of study on file
- Have no current or pending financial aid disbursements for books and supplies
- Must have paid current tuition or pay plan set up through the cashiers office
Textbook Loans up to $250/repaid at end of term (Beginning January 4, 2010)
- *6 hours of enrollment at Eastfield
- GPA of 2.0 for returning students
- No blocks or previous owed balances
- Have a declared program of study on file
- Must have paid tuition or pay plan set up
- Must have DCCCD money card activated once approved, to receive funds
Tuition Loans up to $250 to be repaid at end of term (Beginning January 4, 2010)
- 6 hours of enrollment at Eastfield
- GPA of 2.0 for returning students
- No blocks or previous owed balances
- Not on financial aid suspension or default on federal loans
- Have a declared program of study on file
- No current pending Financial Aid for tuition
Pay Plans in the Cashiers Office (Through February 4, 2010)
- Students are able to have tuition payments deferred to begin classes
- Must be enrolled
- Have no blocks or outstanding balances on record
- Students are required to pay ½ of the total tuition, plus a $15 set up fee. A monthly payment schedule is then set up for the student to adhere to
- Students classes are protected, as long as they adhere to the payment schedule
- Students can set up on line, via eConnect or come into the cashier's office on campus to set up
