Spring 2010 Student Financial Aid
Payment Information

Financial Aid processing is underway!

Important Time-line for Financial Aid Applications:

• Deadline for requested / required documents is – November 30, 2009.
• For students that do not meet this deadline, you are required to pay for tuition, books and supplies up front or utilize the pay plan in the cashier’s office.

Important Time-line for Financial Aid Payments and Disbursements:

• Financial Aid transmittals to pay for tuition –January 9, 2010
• 1st disbursement for books / supplies –January 13-January 29, 2010
• 2nd disbursement processing begins –February 5, 2010

(Note: All students may not be receiving a final disbursement, please refer to your student account for more info)

Students not certified as attending all classes will not be given their full Financial Aid entitlement credit as noted on award letter, please contact the office for more information.

3 Refund Payment Options

1. Deposit to a free Higher One checking account  (With this option, you’ll get your money within one business day.)
2. ACH Deposit to another checking account of your choice (3-5 business days).
3. Paper check mailed to your home (You’ll get your money in 7-10 business days).  http://www.dcccd.edu/Current+Students/Paying+for+College/DR/

Note: Don’t delay, submit  your 2009-2010 FAFSA (free application for federal student aid)

Log onto www.fafsa.ed.gov to apply.
