What is the purpose for communication club?

The purpose of the Eastfield College Speech Communication Club is to encourage students to become responsible citizens. Members will strengthen their own self-image through development of their communication and leadership skills. Students will also learn to value and relate to the uniqueness of others.

One thing that is unique to the Eastfield College Communication Club is that besides being a fun and very active club, it is also a credit course. Students can earn up to four transferable credits. One credit hour is earned for each semester a student is enrolled in SPCH 1144-4001, 1145-4001, 2144-4001 or 2145-4001. Students can enroll for credit as many as four semesters.
