As a result of the December 26 tornadoes, Dallas County Community College District understands the desperate needs of our communities as they begin the recovery and rebuilding process. Our hearts go out to the families affected by this tragic event, and DCCCD through the collective efforts of our colleges, is ready to assist with staff and resources in a number of areas.
For immediate assistance, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Eastfield College is the lead training provider, and working with the other DCCCD colleges, will offer fast-track training free of charge for individuals needing employment during the rebuilding process, or for those individuals who suffered damage to their residence. DCCCD is working with construction companies in the area to place training participants into full-time employment opportunities as the rebuilding process begins. Starting wages may be up to $15/hour. Students will be able to finish most of the individual courses in less than a week.Eastfield College Workforce Training (Spanish Version)
