What is TexPREP?
The Texas Pre-Freshman Engineering Program (TexPREP) is a summer enrichment program for middle and high school students in grades six through 10, who have demonstrated mathematical ability at school. TexPREP provides pre-college students the opportunity to study STEM subjects — science, technology, engineering and math — in a college setting.
TexPREP sessions run for six weeks, beginning in June and ending in July, each summer. Space is limited and participation in TexPREP is by admission only.
Applications for Dallas-area TexPREP summer programs are usually available from February to May. If accepted, students (and their parents/guardians) should plan to attend a required orientation session.

Note: Dallas ISD will cover the program cost for students attending DISD schools. For non-DISD students, all fees are due in advance of the program's start date. Contact your school district to see if you qualify for financial assistance.
