Texas Senate Bill 11 (SB-11) is also called the “concealed carry” law. SB-11 allows individuals who have a license to carry (LTC), to carry a concealed handgun on any public college or university campus in Texas.

In this video, students are sitting around a table reading their books. One male student drops his book on the ground. When he bends over to get it, his concealed handgun peaks out from underneath his shirt. After he picks up his book, he quickly pulls his shirt down to conceal his handgun from the other students. He has unintentionally showed his handgun to his classmates. This is not a violation because he did not mean to show his handgun.
In this video a group of students are hanging out talking with each other. A male student walks up and lifts his shirt up to show the group of students his concealed handgun. This is an intentional display of a handgun and is not allowed on the DCCCD campuses at any time.
