Adjunct CADD Faculty
Eastfield College

Larry Higgins has been drawing house plans since the age of 8, learning about architectural rendering from his structural engineer father and the family business, L.B. Higgins Construction Co.

Larry Higgins came to Eastfield College in 1977 to earn an associate degree in liberal arts before going to work in the family business, where he eventually became a managing partner. After selling that business, he operated an interior design business specializing in medical and dental office interiors. He returned to Eastfield in 2005 to earn an associate degree in CADD and learn to use computers to execute existing manual drafting skills. He teaches classes in CAD, CAM and CNC skills.
