The Digital Media Technology program will prepare you for a variety of career opportunities. Our faculty draw on their knowledge and experience to ensure student success.


Developing Skills for Success

Digital Media courses include instruction in:

  • Both Macintosh and PC computing skills
  • Digital photography
  • Digital retouch
  • Digital imaging and page layout
  • Digital pre-press
  • Basic animation, both 2-D and 3-D
  • 3D modeling
  • Basic Web design
  • Professional portfolio development
  • Visual and verbal communications
  • Digital video editing

Classrooms are equipped with the most current Macintosh and PC computers to cross-train and develop your skills on various platforms. Our digital photography studio includes professional lighting equipment and industry-standard large- and medium-format cameras along with professional digital SLR cameras.

Students enrolling in digital photography are not required to provide their own camera; the college will furnish all equipment needed to produce professional digital prints.

Advanced students serve as professional interns or participate in a cooperative work program to gain practical job experience to prepare them for full-time employment.
