Glynn Newman is a doctoral candidate in public policy and administration at Walden University. Mr. Newman holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Edwards University and a master’s degree in public administration from St. Mary’s University, with additional graduate studies in political ecology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Va.
He joined the faculty in 1998, teaching American Government and Texas Politics. His research interests include urban renewal, local politics, political parties and privatization. He has published two books and study guides, and has written a number of articles on government reinvention.
