Ruben Reyna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. His career includes positions as a business systems programmer analyst, software test lead, project manager, capacity planner, accountant and finance manager in the fields of petroleum, personal electronics, semiconductor manufacturing and education. 

His career started in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, as a business systems programmer analyst in a natural gas production environment where he worked on online and batch business applications, pipeline and exchange imbalance tracking, and state taxation projects. After two years, he returned to Dallas to work for a semiconductor company as a business systems programmer analyst, working with 40 marketing associates to deliver reporting analysis to support net revenue goals.  

An opportunity to work with educators arose in the personal electronics industry when he was asked to be a pilot site community coordinator. He worked with schools in the U.S. and Europe to test a classroom network system providing real-time feedback, training schools in the system and working with the product development team to improve the final product. 

As a software test lead, Mr. Reyna helped establish processes, tools and hiring of test resources for a new test team. As an international project manager, he managed the Japan Quake Analysis team to analyze impacts to critical supply components, supply shortage, incremental costs, revenue risk, inventory allocation and air freight impacts to restore the supply chain.  

As a business planner, he supported business growth through customer support, including direct communications with worldwide customers, customer service, sales, marketing, QA and product engineering. In accounting and finance, he provides production cost analysis in support of manufacturing operations, worldwide consolidation and analysis and budget management.  

He is pursuing a Master of Accounting degree and CPA certification at the University of Texas at Dallas. Mr. Reyna is bilingual in English and Spanish.
