If you plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in business, you can earn an Associate of Science Degree with a Field of Study in Business from Brookhaven, Eastfield, El Centro, Mountain View, North Lake or Richland colleges.
DCCCD Field of Study degrees are college freshman- and sophomore-level courses designed to transfer as a block of credit to any Texas public college or university to earn a bachelor's degree in business. The courses are approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The curriculum applies to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration according to the four-year college or university. Receiving institutions are not required to accept a grade below "C" in transfer.

Workforce Solutions of Greater Dallas's targeted occupations lists eight separate business management and administration positions as high-growth areas this year. Projections include 3,340 positions in administrative services at an average of $52.18 per hour, 12,270 positions for business operations specialists at $39.69 per hour; and 46,200 positions as customer support specialists at $16.54 per hour.
