Brian Fleming holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, and a professional teaching certificate from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he plans to work on a master’s degree in industrial engineering.
On the Richland College faculty since 2004, he taught engineering, computer aided design (CAD) and robotics courses at Richardson ISD’s J.J. Pearce High School for nine years.
His professional experience includes serving as a design engineer for Ram Inc., an injection molding firm in Cisco, Texas, where he was in charge of product and part manufacturing design for the company’s high-thermal plastics. He also worked as a quality technician for Huck International, a mechanical engineering firm in Waco, in charge of testing parts coming off the heat-treat line, including rejection reports and failure analyses.
