Instructor Paul Lindsey earned an associate degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology from Eastfield College and began teaching as an adjunct instructor in 1976. He taught in Cedar Valley’s program full-time for a year and a half, then taught in the program at North Lake College for more than 20 years before the college closed its program.

He has passed all aspects of the Industry Competency Exam and is North America Technician Excellence-certified in gas furnace, air conditioning service technician, residential heat pump and residential air conditioning, air distribution service technician and refrigeration light commercial service technician.

He also worked as a service technician for many years and owned his own company, Paul’s Heating and Air Conditioning, in Irving.
