Adjunct Faculty and Lab Coordinator

Zlata Stankovic-Ramirez has served as adjunct faculty for Eastfield Teacher Education courses since 2011. She began her full-time position as Lab Coordinator in the Center for Child and Family Studies at the end of 2017. She holds a master’s degree in child development from Texas Woman’s University (TWU) and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in early child development and education from TWU.
 
In addition to teaching early childhood education courses at Eastfield, she has also taught at TWU and currently serves there as an adjunct instructor for child development courses.
 
She received a Child Care Director certificate from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in 2011. She was also selected to be a part of the Experiential Student Scholar program at TWU during her graduate studies.
 
Stankovic-Ramirez belongs to the National Association for the Education of Young Children and currently serves as co-president of the Dallas chapter.
