Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive imaging specialty within the field of radiologic technology. An MRI technologist takes detailed pictures of a patient’s internal structures with a sophisticated machine that uses magnetism and radio frequency energy to create a 3-D scan.
