This article appeared in the Oct. 9, 2018, issue of the student newsletter.

Learn how you can do your part to help secure a sustainable future for Dallas and the world at the eighth Sustainability Summit on Nov. 9 at Richland College.

When you register for the summit, you'll hear from two prominent voices in the sustainability field:

  • Marianella Franklin, chief sustainability officer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, is the morning keynote speaker.
  • Kevin Wilhelm, CEO of Sustainable Business Consulting, is the second keynote speaker.

At the breakout sessions throughout the day, you'll learn about everything from thermal energy and how Dallas is remaining sustainable to water management and campus efficiency.

On top of all that, you'll get a free continental breakfast when you arrive bright and early for check-in!

The festivities kick off with check-in and breakfast at Fannin Hall on Richland's campus. Register today and reserve your spot for a day of sustainability talk!
