BUSI-1301: Principles of Business (formerly Introduction to Business)
This course is designed to provide a high level overview of business – the thought being that whether you decide to open your own business or to work for others, you will have the knowledge to add value to your role in the company. If you have a realistic business idea, you will be given the opportunity to work with Prof. Lopez, one-on-one, to construct your business plan.

BUSI-1307: Personal Finance
This course will enlighten and empower you. It will enhance your negotiation skills and teach you about industry and how they are in business to make money by taking yours away from you. You will learn how to reduce your expenses and increase your income. If you find yourself in debt today, you will have the opportunity to work with Prof. Lopez, one-on-one, to create a plan to get out of debt.

MRKG-1311: Principles of Marketing
Concentrating on how businesses market to you, this course uses real life examples to illustrate how you may use marketing processes to build your business and personal brands. Marketing techniques for both products and services are the central focus of the course.

BMGT-1327: Principles of Management
Always aspiring for greatness, you will learn how to become a better manager. We will examine various aspects of business and how your decisions impact the success of the firm for whom you work. You will learn about responsibility and accountability. Group exercises offer opportunities to evaluate different scenarios for incidents that have already occurred in your current or historical jobs.
